Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus are on the verge of parting, Italian media reported in the last day.
After the painful relegation in the quarter-finals of the Champions League by Porto and in addition to the situation in the Italian league table (10 points difference from Inter leading), the old lady decided to sell the Portuguese striker this summer.
Reports have said that even for Ronaldo this is a requested move and although he is delivering great numbers this season and tops the table of goalscorers in Serie A with 20 goals, he feels he does not want to stay in Turin.
Fabio Pratici, the Zebras' professional manager, hinted at the phenomenon's future in northern Italy just days ago when asked if the club would like to extend the 36-year-old's contract beyond the summer of 2022. "It's not something on our agenda," he said. "When there is a player of such caliber in the team and he decides to leave, it should be honored. We hope to honor his contract and see how he feels this year," he added.
