The first group includes the teams of Syria, China, the Maldives and Guam. Our team will play with Guam on the seventh of next June, with the Maldives on the eleventh of the same month, and with China on the fifteenth of that month.
The International Federation and the Asian Football Confederation had decided to postpone the joint Asian qualifiers for the finals of the World Cup and Asia to next June due to the Corona pandemic, noting that our team has fifteen points in the qualifiers, which they won from five victories over the Philippines 5-2, the Maldives 2-1 and Guam 4 - Zero, against China 2-1, and against the Philippines 2-1 again.
