Maccabi Haifa striker Nikita Rokavica trained today (Friday) in the Maccabi Haifa squad and it seems that the Australian will return to the squad after a long absence.
As you may recall, on February 17, Maccabi Haifa announced that the striker had contracted Corona, after which he remained in isolation, and later did not return to training because he continued to feel symptoms as a result of the infection.
However, throughout the last week, Rokavitsia has been in full training and now Bachar has decided to train him in the squad for the game against Bnei Yehuda on Sunday (20:45, Sport1).
The one who will not open in the lineup is Charon Cherry.
Although the Dutchman has returned to training and is expected to be on the squad, he is not fit for ninety minutes and is expected to come in during the game as a substitute.
Who will return to the squad after four absences is Dolev Haziza, after the suspension he received following the events of the derby.
Raz Meir and Ofri Arad will also return to the lineup.
After losing the summit, Haifa understands the importance of the upcoming game.
"Bnei Yehuda are in their own struggles and will not make life easy for us," they said in Haifa.
