Georgian Nicolaus Basilshvili won the Qatar Open Championship today (Saturday).
The Georgian, who came into the tournament with just two wins in his last 16 games in the round, defeated Roberto Bautista Agot 6: 7 (5), 2: 6 and completed a dream week after also defeating Roger Federer in a game in which he managed to save a game point.
This is the fourth ATP title in Basilshvili's career, saying at the end: "I somehow managed to adapt to the conditions, it was one of the 250 toughest tournaments I have seen, there were ten players from the top 10 in the world.
