The Greek media continue to claim today (Sunday) that AEK Athens is paying increased attention to the Israeli Premier League in order to add players from it in the summer.
AAK may have experienced an unsuccessful season, but according to reports, owner Dimitris Melisanidis is very pleased with the addition of Levi Garcia and believes that players coming from Israel can adapt well to Greece and make an impact almost immediately.
"Garcia has become one of the best wingers in the Greek league," it said, "He provides creativity, produces situations and shows inspiring ability. He scored 5 goals and cooked 7 more in all settings and justified the investment in him: about 2 million euros transferred to Betar Jerusalem." They added: "It seems that following the success with Garcia, AEK Athens has set up a fishing net in Israel."

In Greece, the names of Dor Peretz (following the report in Walla! Sport), Daniel Tennenbaum and Bogdan Planich have once again mentioned those who are interested in AAK ahead of next season.
Peretz is considered the group's main target in the Israeli market and Garcia gave him a very good opinion.
At the same time, Greece knows that only a very tempting offer will make him sign and that a salary of half a million euros, an amount that AAK is willing to pay, will not convince Peretz.
AAC is ranked third in Greece, with the same number of points as Aris Thessaloniki II and 16 points behind Olympiacos which is on the safe path to winning the championship.
