Let's start with the conclusion, the bottom line.
The Israeli league is small for Dor Peretz, but it is not certain that he will have to leave it for Europe.
A year and a few months after the serious injury he experienced in coaching the Israeli national team in Shefayim, Dor Peretz has become a monster as football players like to call someone who is on a different level.
Sometimes he doesn't even seem to get tired of the game.
The one who recognized him first was a fool Arbelde.
Not at the level of credit he gave him, but in the same sentence he said here in an interview with Walla!

From the start of the season a fantastic burst, but the last few months under Patrick Van Leven have made him someone who is above the league.
His beautiful goal last night in Kiryat Shmona showed that his self-confidence is at its peak and it is no small thing for a guy who has often admitted that he needs mental reinforcements.
The more he bursts the killer on the court, the softer his soul is soft and not rough.
In order to take out of himself all this good that Maccabi Tel Aviv fans now receive, he had to feel really good in Kiryat Shalom and he is exactly at this point.
Elsewhere, it is doubtful whether he will receive all the luxurious cover he has from Maccabi Tel Aviv.
He will soon be 26 and at the end of the season he will be a free agent.
On the face of it, there is no better time than this to go out to Europe.
Last week we posted here about an offer he is supposed to get from the Greek Athens AAC, but this is not supposed to be an offer that will make him leave home.
Mitch Goldhaar is able to compare the Greek amount transported around 500,000 euros net per season and the burst comes.
For Peretz to leave, there has to be a heavier financial offer that he will receive and especially a more significant challenge from the Greek league that is generally controlled by Olympiacos.
But it is not certain that even then he should pack his words and leave.
There is a problem for the actors in his role.
It is true that Beavers Natcho made a great career and earned a lot, but Natcho did not leave an embracing club like Maccabi Tel Aviv that pays like mediocre clubs in Europe.

Even if money is not the main issue here and there is ambition and a professional challenge here, not sure if it would be right for Peretz to look for an adventure in a club that wants immediate results from him and it is doubtful if it will give him the same home feeling he has at Maccabi Tel Aviv.
In his current role he is not entirely a back contact and certainly not a playmaker.
It is a perfect hybrid for the Israeli league and its level, but it is not sure that it will be enough for the really good leagues in Europe.
If Peretz does not leave, it may bother him for life.
If he does not give himself a chance he may not forgive himself.
But even if he decides to stay and accept the offer from Maccabi Tel Aviv, it will be a reasonable and correct decision for those who raised themselves so high, very close to the impact that Eran Zehavi had on the team.
