Hapoel Hadera is playing in the Premier League for the third year in a row, and today (Monday) the plan to build a new football stadium in the city was finally approved.

The plan, which was approved in November 2017 by the subcommittee, was approved by the Haifa District Planning and Construction Committee, according to which a stadium with 15,000 seats will be built, and in addition, training grounds, commercial areas, bus parking and shuttles for public service will be built.

The stadium complex is located on an area of ​​about 130 dunams in the northeast of the city, and integrates into the areas of the metropolitan park and near the "Hadera East" train station planned to be built in the coming years in the complex are planned many leisure, sports and recreational uses.

The complex includes an indoor stadium as well as locker rooms, judging rooms, treatment rooms and more as required by the most stringent international standards.

In addition to the stadium, a training complex will be built for the children and youth groups, which includes two standard training fields and another training field, locker rooms and gyms, conference rooms and more.

In total, the stadium and the training complex are allocated an area of ​​23,000 square meters, and adjacent to it is offered a commercial building with 8,000 square meters of commercial space that will serve the stadium island and the residents of the city and the surrounding area.
