LE SCAN SPORT - According to Le Parisien, the thugs were targeting the deserted house of the defender of Paris SG and not that of his father, located next door and then occupied by three people.

The police investigation to try to get their hands on the burglars who broke into the home of Marquinhos' father on Sunday evening during the meeting between Paris SG and Nantes continues.

Le Parisien

revealed this Tuesday that the thugs would have made a big mistake by choosing the wrong house to visit.

The brigands landed in the one next door occupied by the father of the international.

He was feeding his dogs at 9.40 p.m. when he saw at least two men tumbling into his garden.

The criminals, no doubt surprised to discover someone in these supposedly deserted places, pushed the man inside the house before striking him in the face and chest.

They then searched the home and found that two teenage girls, aged 13 and 16, the daughters of Marquinhos' father, were also present.

The three occupants were confined in a closet while the burglars committed their looting.

According to the daily, they would have got their hands on 2,000 euros in cash, luxury items, three bags in particular as well as jewelry.

The burglars were able to be extremely discreet since the family did not see or hear anything.

They were able to leave with the equivalent of more than 500,000 euros in stolen goods, in particular looting a safe upstairs.
