Cremonese, a team stuck at the bottom of the second division in Italy, won a crucial match on Tuesday with a view to keeping Entella on the pitch (2-0).
A success to which Michelle Castagnetti, author of her team's second goal in the 60th minute of play, largely contributed, after seeing her teammate Gaerano open the scoring a quarter of an hour earlier.
The 31-year-old midfielder probably scored the best goal of his career with an “instinct” volley on a clearance from the opposing goalkeeper.
Seeing the 70-meter ball arrive, the player did not ask himself any questions before arming his shot when he saw the goalkeeper advanced in his area.
A daring that paid off since his mammoth kick flew into the air before lobbing the unfortunate Daniele Borra who will do it twice before wanting to clear his camp so quickly in the future.
Michelle Castagnetti just scored this goal in Serie B.
