Three consecutive victories for Qasiyon in the second leg of the Women's Basketball League

The Qasiyon team is striving to achieve an important achievement this season and its eye on the Women's Basketball League title, especially after achieving three consecutive victories at the expense of Al-Ittihad, Freedom and Unity.

With the start of the second leg, Qasiyoun was able to win against Al-Ittihad by 64-56 points, Al-Hurriya by 88-55 points, and yesterday over Al-Wehda by 68-63 points, by quarters 11-19 points, 19-9 points, 23-22 points and 15-13 points.

Qasiyoun won in the first leg, Al-Hurriya 90-61 points, Al-Ittihad 78-68 points, Al-Sahel 72-56 points, Tishreen 67-55 points, Al-Orouba 81-47 points, Al-Thawra 75-73 points, Al-Wehda 74-63 points, and Al-Ashrafiya 62- 30 points and suffered a single loss in front of Al-Galaa, with a score of 50-63 points.

The club's president, Brigadier General Fayez Al-Basha, explained to SANA that the women's basket team is moving in a clear line for everyone and is achieving victories with the efforts of its players and the technical and administrative staff, pointing out that the ambition is to win the league title, noting that in all seasons we compete strongly in the league and cup competitions.

Team manager Khaled Jumaa indicated that the team this season is determined to present a distinguished technical level, hoping that all efforts will culminate in achieving the league title, especially since we have distinguished players who have proven their worth in previous seasons, as is this season.

Coach Bashar Fadel confirmed that all the players are showing a great level and the results so far are promising. Since the start of the league, we have lost only one match and won eleven wins.

The Qasiyon team consists of the players Carolina Abu Latif, Farah Asad, Ibtisam Al-Zeer, Batoul Al-Sayed, Liana Ghanoum, Hiba Baghdadi, Rawan Al-Jarf, Lana Al-Faseeh, Darin Atfah, Haya Al-Maliki and Gulnar Mubarak.

It is noteworthy that the tournament system stipulates that the teams play in the first round back and forth, and at the end the last two clubs fall directly to the second division, and the first four teams qualify for the final round where the first meets the fourth and the second with the third to win two out of three matches and the two winners qualify for the match. The final is played to win two out of three matches as well.
