Unterhaching - A bang at SpVgg Unterhaching before the “relegation final” on Saturday in the sports park against KFC Uerdingen: Sports director Claus Schromm asked for a break until the end of the season.
The 51-year-old was considered the father of success in Haching and remained loyal to the club in various functions for a decade.
SpVgg Unterhaching against KFC Uerdingen in the live ticker: Schwabl confirms Schromm's time-out
In 2017 he led Hachinger back to the third division, but had to relinquish his coaching position to Arie van Lent after the last season.
Most recently, as head of sports, he found less and less attention to important decisions and therefore asked for a leave of absence until the end of June.
The further cooperation should then be clarified.
"It's true that Claus asked for a break until the end of the season, we will then find solutions together," says President Manfred Schwabl, who hopes that there is still a sporting future between Haching and Schromm.
Currently, after the results in the catch-up games during the week, the Hachinger team have taken over the “red lantern” of the last team in the table and coach van Lent has given the motto: “It is forbidden to lose against Uerdingen”.
