Big personal bloodletting among the footballers of TSV Eching: Five top performers follow coach Gerhard Lösch to the district league competitor FSV Pfaffenhofen.
- No football in the amateur field, but boredom in the clubs.
One exception: TSV Eching.
It has long been known that the leaders of the Northern District League will change coaches after the season and that Michael Schütz will succeed Gerhard Lösch.
The fact that a handful of footballers will go to FSV Pfaffenhofen with the current coach is new - and it hits the zebras to the core.
Captain Thomas Niggl, Philipp Schuler, Maxi Ceballos, Maximilian Völke and Ante Basic also switch to the district league competitor.
“This news came as a surprise to us, as we had expected our top performers to stay.
Accordingly, we were of course disappointed, but now see it as an opportunity for a fresh start, ”said TSV chairman Rudolf Hauke, commenting on the unexpected bloodletting.
Recently in the Bundesliga: It is announced that Mönchengladbach's coach Marco Rose will go to Borussia Dortmund after the season.
Gladbachers have interesting players in their squad whose strengths he knows well.
When asked whether players will follow him to Dortmund, Rose answers unequivocally: “If Marco Rose says he won't take a player to Borussia Dortmund, then he won't take a player to Borussia Dortmund.
Ready, off. ”Just calm down the situation quickly.
Rose's statement does not mean that players could switch from one Borussia to the other in the next few years.
Oral commitments a year ago
In the amateur field, the money factor plays a smaller role, but there are also club changes.
"I know what can happen in football," says Eching club boss Hauke.
When TSV announced the separation after the season in February 2020, the club's management decided to end the round with delete.
Like Gladbach with Rose.
Talks were then held with the footballers.
"You gave us verbal promises," reports Hauke.
However, that was before the first lockdown.
The season has dragged on since then, and Lösch has now found a new club.
He knows which players can help him in Pfaffenhofen.
And there are players who know what he's got in him.
“I have a very good relationship with all the guys.
When I told the team at the end of 2019 that the season would be over, players called me to change my mind, ”says Gerhard Lösch.
He made it clear to them that the exit is final.
"Some wanted me to let them know as soon as I had a new club." And further: "I did that." But it was never his plan to take five footballers with him.
"When the FSV Pfaffenhofen started planning the new season, I told them who could help us." Including: five top performers from Echingen.
Coach Gerhard Lösch wants to give everything for TSV until the end.
Thomas Niggl is not only the captain of the zebras, but also one of the key players as a central figure in midfield.
With his experience and power on the wing, Philipp Schuler is an important factor in TSV's game, Maxi Ceballos is the most accurate attacker with twelve goals.
He was also the best shooter in the penultimate season.
Ante Basic was ahead of him last season.
He's also going to Pfaffenhofen - like Maximilian Völke, who came from Oberföhring before the current lap.
Lösch described it as "the positive surprise of the season".
The players have to feel that they are in good hands with him - otherwise they would not move on with him.
And: At Niggl, Ceballos and Völke, the trainer was directly involved in the change to TSV Eching.
Schuler and Basic were there before Lösch.
“Phil and I get along really well.
Ante said he would also switch to the A-Class with me, ”says Lösch.
In a zoom meeting in which he and all the players took part, Niggl, Ceballos, Völke, Schuler and Basic shared their decision with their teammates.
“Everyone played with their cards open.
It is clear that the club is not happy when five top performers leave, ”emphasizes Lösch.
TSV boss Hauke wants the clean solution
What does that mean from the TSV's point of view?
Carry on or the immediate separation?
“We have set up a task force.
And there were internal voices that wanted to end the collaboration prematurely.
But we decided to end the season as agreed with Gery on the sidelines, ”says Hauke.
He wants the clean solution: "We wish the players and Gery all the best."
And Lösch, who turned 33 on Thursday, wants to be positively remembered: “I owe a lot to Eching.
I think we benefited from each other.
I'll give it my all until the end. ”And try to move up with TSV and avoid his new club in the new season.
It is questionable whether he will get the chance or Corona will thwart his plans.
