Leaders in the Ligue 1 standings, the Lille Mastiffs bit the dust against the poorly classified Nîmes (1-2, the film of the meeting here) this Sunday, during the 30th day of the French championship.
Xeka responded to Croco Moussa Koné's opener, and it was Renaud Ripart who gave Nîmes the advantage in stoppage time in the first period.
Advantage which finally proved to be definitive… And which could have very strong consequences on the outcome of the season, whether at the top or bottom of the standings.
If there is one, the winner of the clash between Lyon and PSG, this Sunday evening (9 p.m.), will take control.
