Arrival of the quinté
: 7 - 13 - 8 - 12 - 14
After
Galik's
success
in the Omnium II and that of
Pretty Tiger
in the Prix François Mathet, two main races reserved for 3-year-olds, the Sunday quinté pitted 16 competitors, aged 4 to 8, over the distance of 1 400 m.
Very confirmed at this level for having already played 35 quintés,
Millfield
(n ° 7) was the strongest in the fight.
After having practiced a long waiting race, the resident of David Smaga made a good effort, outside, all along the finish line to come and take the best around the post in
Brouillard
(n ° 13), which has long been an illusion for victory.
Away from the leading duo,
Red Torch
(n ° 8) grabbed an easy 3rd place and clearly ahead of
Zock
(n ° 12), author of a fine final effort.
The quinté is completed by
Yssingeaux
(n ° 14), which precedes
King Robbe
(n ° 2), one of the animators,
Barakatle
(n ° 3), the favorite, and
Mille Sabords
(n ° 9).
Disappointment with
Haliphon
(n ° 5), who never gave hope to his takers.
