Paris Saint-Germain regained the Ligue 1 lead on matchday 30.

In the top game, the reigning French champions prevailed 4-2 (2-0) against third-placed Olympique Lyon.

Kylian Mbappé (15th minute / 52nd), Danilo (32nd) and Ángel di María (47th) scored the goals for Paris, Islam Slimani (62nd) and Maxwel Cornet (81st) scored for Lyon.

PSG took advantage of the surprising defeat of previous leaders OSC Lille, who surprisingly lost 2-1 to Nîmes Olympique.

At the end of January, on matchday 22, Lille took over the table lead from Paris.

With 63 points, PSG are back at the top because the club has the better goal difference compared to Lille with the same points.

Lyon remains third with 60 points.

Mbappé gave Paris the lead after fifteen minutes when he shot the ball into goal from five meters through the legs of goalkeeper Anthony Lopes.

A little later Danilo Pereira followed suit.

After a header by Marquinhos, Danilo was free in the penalty area and scored the 2-0 (32nd).

Shortly after the break, Ángel di María hit a free kick from the right wing with a spin on the left post, no player came to the cross and the ball landed 3-0 in the goal net (47.).

Lyon were unable to recover and PSG struck again five minutes later.

After a counterattack, Mbappé appeared alone in front of goalkeeper Lopes and pushed in to make it 4-0 (52nd).

Shortly thereafter, Lyon's coach Rudi García replaced a fresh attacker with Slimani for Memphis Depay (56th).

That paid off just six minutes later when Slimani scored from 20 meters with his first shot on goal to make it 4-1 (61st).

Paris coach Mauricio Pochettino also exchanged his attackers, Neymar came on for Mbappé (70th).

The Brazilian made his comeback after a six-week injury break, but remained unremarkable.

Instead, Lyon scored his second goal.

Maxwel Cornet prevailed in a duel against Alessandro Florenzi and scored the goal from 16 meters, which gave Lyon some hope again (81st).

Slimani then had a great chance of scoring the third goal, but Navas parried and prevented the connection (83rd).
