The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced today that Chad has been excluded from the 2021 African Nations Cup qualifiers.
The federation said in a statement on its official website that it decided to exclude the Chadian national team from the African Nations Cup qualifiers after the work of the Chadian Football Association was suspended by the Chadian Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The Chad national team ranks last in Group A in the qualifiers with one point and was scheduled to play against Namibia next Wednesday in the fifth round, then the Mali team, the leader with 10 points, will meet Chad at the end.
