Loan talents from FC Bayern in check: a youngster can dream

FC Bayern Munich currently has eight talents on loan. According to the current status, only one of them could play a role with the professionals in the future.

FC Bayern Munich currently has eight talents on loan.

According to the current status, only one of them could play a role with the professionals in the future.

Munich - It is not easy to gain a foothold in the German record champions' star collection.

That is why up-and-coming talents are always trying to take an intermediate step at other clubs.

Eight young boys are currently loaned out to other clubs by FC Bayern.

There they should collect playing time and recommend themselves with good performances for a return to the Isar.

So far, however, the results are sobering.

Only two of the talents are placed at their clubs, the rest come from sporadic appearances.

Chris Richards is a regular at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim under Sebastian Hoeneß

Chris Richards is likely to be the only loan player who can be a real alternative in Bayern's professional squad in the coming season.

The American moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in the winter and has been there since in both the Bundesliga and the Europa League.

Under coach Sebastian Hoeneß, who trained him with Bayern Amateurs last season, he has played a total of eight times.

Richards could benefit from his flexibility.

The 20-year-old can play as a center and right-back.

In November 2022, the Richards, who moved from FC Dallas to FC Bayern youth for 1.1 million euros in winter 2019, made his debut for the American national team.

Recently, however, Richards has emphasized that he can imagine staying in Hoffenheim for a longer period of time.

An extension of the loan seems possible.

His contract in Munich runs until summer 2023.

Lars Lukas Mai convinces Darmstadt - interest from top Italian club

In addition to Richards, only Lars Lukas Mai is a regular player, but in the 2nd Bundesliga.

The 20-year-old has been on loan to Darmstadt 98 since the summer and has since played 22 of the possible 26 league games.

The central defender with thigh problems is currently missing.

The German U21 international was allowed to play twice for the FC Bayern professionals in the Bundesliga in the 2017/18 season, but it wasn't enough for more.

Even when Bayern had major personnel problems on the defensive, Mai was left out after the Jupp Heyncke era.

A permanent return is therefore unlikely.

His achievements are said to have even called the Italian top club Lazio Rome on the scene.

Joshua Zirkzee is only a substitute at Parma

With Richards, Joshua Zirkzee was also awarded in winter.

With three goals in his first appearances for the professionals, the Dutchman was the shooting star of FC Bayern last season.

However, its development subsequently stagnated.

At Parma Calcio, the striker should draw attention again.

So far, Zirkzee has only played four joker games, also because of back problems.

The 19-year-old has not yet managed to participate in the goal.

The successor for Robert Lewandowski or his replacement in the next season is unlikely in this form.

Cuisance shows improvement - purchase option for Marseille too high

Michael Cuisance, on the other hand, recently showed an upward trend.

The Frenchman was loaned to Olympique Marseille that summer and last scored his first two goals.

He has a total of 20 appearances, but only ten from the start, with two goals and an assist.

Marseille has a purchase option of 18 million euros.

But also due to financial problems, it is unlikely that this will be pulled.

A change below the purchase option is conceivable.

Cuisance himself hopes to stay at home permanently.

Adrian Fein hardly plays a role at PSV Eindhoven - Früchtl without commitment at 1. FC Nürnberg

Even with Adrian Fein, a return to Munich is likely despite the purchase option for around eight million euros.

Born in Munich, he has been playing for PSV Eindhoven since the summer, but cannot go beyond the role of substitute player.

Before that, he was able to convince in the 2nd Bundesliga with Jahn Regensburg and HSV.

A sale on lower terms in summer is likely.

Christian Früchtl should mature as the successor to Manuel Neuer at 1. FC Nürnberg.

However, the 20-year-old has not yet completed an assignment with the Franconians.

A return to Munich in the summer has already been confirmed.

There, however, he will only fight for the regular place among the amateurs in the 3rd division.

His contract expires in 2022.

Oliver Batista Meier: After a strong start, only bench press

Oliver Batista Meier has been considered the greatest offensive talent of FC Bayern in recent years.

After convincing performances in the youth field and in the third division, the German-Brazilian should gather more match practice in the men's field at SC Heerenveen.

After a good start with one goal and two assists in his first missions, the 19-year-old now only has a few minutes of action after his corona infection.

From summer he is threatened with the 3rd league or another farewell.

Dajaku only with 35 minutes at Union Berlin

With Leon Dajaku, VfB Stuttgart's greatest hope for the future moved to Munich in the summer of 2020 for 1.5 million euros.

In the winter, the offensive all-rounder was loaned out to Bundesliga competitor Union Berlin, but due to the great competition, including Max Kruse, he only played 35 minutes and was recently often not even in the squad.

The loan will run until summer 2022. The capital city club will then have a purchase option.

Apart from Chris Richards, the signs seem to be pointing to (renewed) farewell for all loaned talents.

The FCB youngsters are too good for the amateurs and the 3rd division, but it will probably not be enough as a real alternative for the professionals.
