Danny Abdia talks about adapting to the NBA (from the Washington Wizards' Twitter page)
Somewhere in mid-December, just before the NBA season kicked off, the Washington Wizards met the Brooklyn Nets for a preseason game, during which Danny Abdia excelled with 15 points on 6 of 6 from the field (3 of 3 for 3), along with four Rebounds.
The Washington rookie had hoped to recover at least some of his ability from that memorable game, but tonight (Sunday through Monday), he was far from doing so.
After the win over Utah that broke a streak of five losses, Washington came back to lose, this time absorbing 113: 106 from Brooklyn, in a game in which Abdia did not score in 11 minutes on the floor.
This is the Wizards' eighth loss in the last ten games, while the rival who is in great shape already with a 15-win victory in 17 games, and this without the injured big star Kevin Durant.

Washington stunned the hosts in the opening with an impressive 6:20 run, but slowly, James Harden and Kyrie Irving bit into the difference, turning the score around after a formidable second quarter (26:38).
Although not on the list, Washington found itself in matters, trailing by just two points with 45 seconds left, but in one of the most important attacks in the game, the Wizards failed to stop Nicola Claxton, who closed the story with an impressive dunk.
Abdia, who again came off the bench and got just 11 minutes despite Davis Bartans' injury, took two shots from the field and missed both.
He added rebounds and fouls and finished with the lowest plus-minus index in the group (18-).

The Nets were led by Irving, who scored 28 and also added 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals.
