Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who already last week announced his return to Sweden's national squad after a five-year absence, attended a press conference tonight (Monday) with the yellow-and-blue uniform.
Ibrahimovic, whose last appearance in the national uniform was at the end of 2015, opened with tears in his eyes: "Football is what I want to do, it's what I love. I'm glad I'm here, I'm proud to be here. I just want to contribute what I can to our team. "
The 39-year-old Swede added with record excitement: "Everything I have done in the past means nothing. I feel in great shape, I want to be involved and I feel I can still contribute for the national team.
"I'm just a little piece of the puzzle," Zlatan continued, "if you ask me, I'm the best in the world, but it does not help here. I just want to put my experience at the disposal of the team. "It needs to be proven. If Jan Anderson thinks I can do better for the team, I'm here to do it."
