The twenty-second round of the football premier league for the youth category will start the day after tomorrow, in which the governorate meets Al-Ittihad, Tishreen with Al-Wathba, Jablah with dignity and glory with the army, Al-Tali'ah with the police, and Al-Wehda with the Norias, to be concluded next Saturday with Hattin’s meeting with Alhurriya.

And after Al-Ittihad moved away from the top of the standings by ten points from the nearest chasers in Tishreen, it seems that the competition for the title is more difficult with the approaching end of the second leg, as only four rounds separate us from it after the twenty-second round.

The governorate coach Issam Khaddam Al-Jami explained to the SANA sports bulletin that the Al-Ittihad team is one of the strongest teams in the league and has players at a high technical level in addition to a good coach, Maan Al-Rashed, pointing out that he has studied all the strengths and gaps of the opposing team and will work to exploit them through tactical sentences that his players will implement, indicating At the same time, his team was threatened with relegation last season, and this season he fights the elders and achieves victories and a good position in the standings.

Khaddam al-Jameh added that his team’s victory in the previous round against Jabla by four for two clean goals will give the players a moral boost to achieve a positive result that satisfies the club’s fans, pointing out that the club’s goal by Qais al-Hassan on Jabla is the fastest goal in the league a few seconds after the start whistle.

Tishreen coach Maher Qassem said in a statement to the SANA sports reporter that the competition has become very difficult, and despite that, our focus has become on taking advantage of the remaining rounds of the league, and we will engage all players to raise their technical and physical level and give them an opportunity to offer their best to benefit from the distinguished among them in the ranks of men in the future.

For his part, the northern coach of Jableh Lawrence stated that his team is preparing well to meet its rival Al Karama in this round, and despite the influential absences in the ranks of the team, we will do everything we can to provide good performance and win important match points to move away from the pressure experienced by the rear teams and improve our team's position on the ladder.

Hittin coach Bashar Sorour drew attention to his team’s quest to win this round on freedom, especially as the match will be held on his team’s home soil, to double the points and advance towards the middle of the standings.

Al-Ittihad leads the rankings with 55 points, Tishreen leads 44 points, Al-Tali'a 41 points, Al-Wathba 34 points, Al-Mohafaza 33 points, Al-Nawa'ir 31 points, Al-Karama 30 points, Al-Jaysh 24 points, Al-Hurriya, Hateen and Al-Wehda, each of whom has 23 points, Jabla 21, Al-Shurta 16 points, and Al-Majd 12 points.
