Ziad Mohamed stands out among the physical strength champions who have been firmly silent in local and international championships during a twenty-year sporting career, in addition to his brilliance in the field of refereeing and training.

About his career and his championships in the game, Muhammad spoke in a statement to the representative of Sana Sports, “My sporting beginnings were with the weightlifting game that I practiced for two years, during which I achieved the title of the Republic Championship in the youth category twice, after which I moved to physical strength and spent twenty years with it and won in all the local tournaments that I played during this period the title Republic Championship and Republic Cup.

In terms of foreign participation, according to Muhammad, she set a record at the Arab and Asian level for the classic squat of 345 kg, and the previous figure was 317 kg. She also won many medals in several international tournaments, most notably the 2018 African African Championship title, winning seven gold and one silver in the Masters category. .

And Mohamed added .. In terms of arbitration, I went through many courses and got the badge of international referee in the game of bodybuilding and international referee in the game of weightlifting from 2006, as well as an international referee in the game of physical strength.

Muhammad, who holds the position of President of the Physical Strength Federation, pointed out that he is working to expand the base of the game by spreading it in the various governorates by preparing qualified cadres in parallel with attracting talents from young age groups to qualify them according to the specific programs in this sport.

Muhammad concluded his speech that the game is witnessing a new start, as this was evident through the recently held Republic Championship for the two categories of young men and women and the university category, as the participation was wide and reached 200 players and players, some of whom presented remarkable skill levels, especially from the universities category, while other talents emerged promising the birth of New heroes in the field of this sport, and our ambition remains to continue the achievements that our heroes previously shined on through a new and young generation.

It is noteworthy that Ziyad Muhammad is the only Syrian international referee in physical strength and participated in international championships arbitration and he is the owner of the Arab record for the classic lift / squat / and he is a certified representative of the Amaro International Agency to attend the records, and he holds a master's degree in managing and organizing sporting events from Switzerland.
