Four days before one of the most important games in its history, Hapoel Holon defeated Hapoel Beer Sheva 75:82 tonight (Sunday).
After the loss to Hapoel Tel Aviv in the last round, Rami Hadar's team came more determined than ever and presented one of the most aggressive games we have seen this season in the league.
The Reds completely disrupted the attacking game of the preferred rival and remained close until the last minutes thanks to the good ability of Eric Griffin (21 points) and Amit Ziss (13).
But Holon has some decisive players that are not on the other side.
Isaiah Miles scored some big threes (20), Guy Pennini did all the small-things as usual and Chris Johnson just ran more than anyone (18).
Thanks to the victory, Holon equaled Hapoel Gilboa / Galil in fourth place with a balance of 6:11.
Holon will play against Academic Plovdiv in the Balkan league tomorrow, with new acquisition Nate Sastina expected to make its debut.
