The youngsters from Dorfen and Gebensbach long for the training.

The squad planning of the ESC is also progressing.

Dorfen - "If the incidence value is below 100, we will start training next week," says Markus Lauffer.

The Vice President of ESC Dorfen means the around 70 children from ESC Dorfen and ESV Gebensbach, who are under 14 years old and are allowed to do contactless sports outside in groups of 20 due to the lockdown rule.

Otherwise, the following applies: The ESC has done its homework, now only the incidence value has to be correct.

"The preparatory work for the new season is underway," says Lauffer.

The hygiene concept adapted to the new level-based lockdown regulations had been submitted to the administrative office of the district, and coaches and team leaders are planning the first summer training units.

"The safety of our athletes, trainers and supervisors comes first, so that the summer training for all areas and teams may only be carried out under the very high safety and hygiene requirements of the ESC Dorfen," says Lauffer, who also makes it clear: Training, that can only be made possible by rapid tests will not exist in Dorfen.

“That has to be done professionally.

We can't expect children to do that, and we're just too insecure. ”Not to mention the financial outlay with a workload of two to three training units per week.

Nonetheless, the 130 children are in the starting blocks and are waiting for an incidence value below 50 so that things can finally start for them too.

According to Lauffer, the junior management is already planning appropriate highlights for the teams, which they can implement as soon as possible.

“The training will initially begin outdoors and without physical contact and - depending on the incidence value - will also take place later in the stadium.

To compensate for the omitted Gebensbach ice skating course (we reported), further campaigns are planned in order to be able to involve beginners and younger players in the game later on.

And the inline athletes could hardly wait until the surface in the ice rink has dried so that they can finally start training again there.

"We have already been able to find sponsors who will support us with the implementation of the summer training with financial means" reports the ESC vice-president.

Further sponsors for the junior sector are of course welcome, "so that the very important junior work can be expanded further".

Not all sponsors stayed, but there is always a certain fluctuation, according to Lauffer.

"Some just reorient themselves, that has nothing to do with Corona at first."

The first activities for the new season have also started in the senior sector, reports Lauffer.

The squad of the Bayern league team is growing continuously and currently consists of twelve field players and two goalkeepers.

Further talks with players from the previous squad, but also with potential newcomers, are ongoing.

Achieving the team strength of around 20 men necessary for the league operation is no problem for the Dorfeners anyway, "because we also integrate players from the 1b and the U20".

In short: entry into summer training is also being planned for men.

Furthermore, according to Lauffer, special preventive measures are planned in cooperation with the employers' liability insurance association, “in order to be able to prepare and protect the players even better”.
