Ski flying world champion Karl Geiger won the last ski jumping competition of the season.
The Oberstdorfer prevailed in the ski flying in Planica on Sunday ahead of the Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi and teammate Markus Eisenbichler.
Geiger flew 231 and 232.5 meters in Slovenia on Sunday.
With that he gets the small crystal ball in the Ski Flying World Cup.
He had already won the individual competition on Friday.
"It was generally a great season and we are very happy," Geiger said on ZDF.
Eisenbichler, who jumped slightly handicapped with a tear in the inner ligament, was also able to look forward to another podium as third.
"I'm just glad that it was over and that it went so well," said the Bavarian: "It was a really strong season for me, I'm completely satisfied."
Shortly before the individual competition, the German jumpers had won a team competition in the ski flying World Cup for the first time in 21 years.
Geiger, Eisenbichler, Pius Paschke and Constantin Schmid prevailed over Japan and Austria.
Sven Hannawald and Martin Schmitt were there when a German team won the last flight World Cup in 2000.
Wake-up process initiated at Tande
After his serious fall while ski flying in Planica, ski jumper Daniel-André Tande is slowly being brought out of his artificial coma.
The wake-up process started on Saturday, but it is a time-consuming process, said the Norwegian Ski Association on Sunday morning.
The 27-year-old will continue to be treated at the University Hospital in Ljubljana.
Tande hit the slope violently during a trial run on Thursday.
He has previously been diagnosed with a broken collarbone and a slight puncture of the lungs.
He was placed in an artificial coma in the hospital in the Slovenian capital.
