Disqualified from the race on Sunday for having sent the British rider Jake Stewart who narrowly avoided the fall into the barriers, Nacer Bouhanni risks more serious sanctions by the UCI who spoke about the gesture of the French rider.
Yo @BouhanniNacer I would ask you what you was thinking ... but you clearly have no brain cells.
The ironic thing is, you told me I had 'no respect' after the finish.

âThe International Cycling Union (UCI) strongly condemns the dangerous driving of the rider Nacer Bouhanni (Team Arkea-Samsic), who pushed Jake Stewart (Groupama-FDJ) into the barriers during the final sprint of Cholet - Pays de la Loire (a UCI Europe Tour Class 1.1 Event) in France on Sunday â, we can read in the UCI press release published on Monday.
âBouhanni was disqualified by the UCI Commissaires Panel on the basis of televised images.
The UCI decided to refer the incident to its disciplinary commission and to demand the imposition of sanctions adapted to the seriousness of this action.
