PSG: Verratti and Florenzi return to Paris

2021-03-29T21:01:30.783Z

The two Parisians will not participate in Italy's match this Wednesday against Lithuania. Verratti would suffer from the left thigh then

After Moïse Kean last week, Marco Verratti and Alessandro Florenzi were in turn forced to leave the Italian selection to return to Paris to rest.

Kean had not taken part in the qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup of Squadra Azzurra.

After a few days of rest, he resumed individual training on Monday at Camp des Loges.

Verratti and Florenzi, they took part in the two Italian successes in the matches against Northern Ireland (2-0) and Bulgaria (2-0).

But, this Monday evening, Sky Sport italia announces that the midfielder and the right side will leave this Tuesday the gathering of the selection to return to Paris.

They will therefore not take part in the game against Lithuania on Wednesday.

"As a precaution"

According to Sky, Verratti suffers from his left thigh and Florenzi from muscle fatigue.

"As a precaution", they were therefore authorized to find PSG where Neymar and the South Americans, whose international meetings have been postponed, are training at the Camp des Loges.

While Mbappé and Kimpembe in particular are on the side of Sarajevo with the Blues, Verratti and Florenzi will, if their physical condition allows it, find a little in advance the preparation of the major meetings to come.

The shock of the championship against Lille is indeed looming this weekend with the reception of Lille on Saturday.

Then it will be time to turn to the Champions League quarter-final first leg against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

Mauricio Pochettino and his staff have not finished worrying and racking their brains to know which team to align according to the states of form of each other.
