Algeria extended its undefeated streak to 24 games by dominating Botswana (5-0) on Monday night on the 6th day of the CAN 2021 qualifiers. The Fennecs thus equal the streak achieved by Egypt at the end of the 2000s. Holding the title of the African Cup of Nations, Algeria qualified without problem for the 2021 edition (postponed between January 15 and February 28, 2022) at the end of a qualifying campaign closed with four wins and two draws.
