The Mauritanian national team qualified for the 2021 African Cup of Nations finals after defeating the Central African Republic 1-0 today in the sixth and final round of the qualifiers.
And striker Aboubacar Camara scored the goal of Mauritania in the last minute of the first half, as Mauritania qualified for the African Nations Cup finals to be hosted by Cameroon early next year for the second time in a row in its history.
And it became the seventh Arab team to reach the finals of the continent after Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Sudan and Comoros.
