Arrived last January, a short month after his ouster from the PSG bench (replaced by Mauricio Pochettino), Thomas Tuchel was quick to find his place in Chelsea and the Premier League.
The German technician was indeed distinguished as manager of the month for March by receiving the Barclays Manager of the Month.
Tuchel succeeds Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), winner the two previous months and becomes the second German awarded after Jürgen Klopp (Liverpool).
In recent weeks, the Blues have notably beaten Liverpool at Anfield Road (0-1, a first in seven years) and are in fourth place in the championship, with a series of ten unbeaten games.
Tuchel is also undefeated since he set foot in London.

Two days before Christmas, after a match won 4-0 against Strasbourg, Tuchel was informed of his dismissal six months before the end of his contract (with compensation of seven million euros).
Not without having poured out a few hours before the match in an interview with the German media Sport 1, confessing unease and regretting not being able to carry out his job as a coach in a company that was too political according to him.
