FIBA announced today (Friday) the rankings for the European Championship draw 2022, which will be held on April 29. The Israeli team has been placed in the fifth tier (out of six), which means that it is expected to be drawn for a difficult home.
In the lottery, six teams will be placed for each of the four houses, and eventually the first four in each house will advance to the round of 16.
The quarter-final, semi-final and final stages will then be played.
Each of the houses will take place in a different country - the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Georgia.
The knockout stages will be played in Berlin.
