Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (32) is enjoying himself in Munich.
Recruited to everyone's surprise by Bayern last summer, the Cameroonian striker signed free with the German champion after two seasons at Paris Saint-Germain.
Linked to the Bavarian club until next June, the former Parisian would gladly like to extend the adventure.
“It would be good to stay longer, explains Choupo-Moting on Friday on the FC Bayern official website.
I train every day with a smile.
It's an honor to play here.
It is a top club.
I'm very happy.
Munich is a beautiful city.
My colleagues made me feel very welcome from the start and my family feels good here.
Everything is perfect.
My daughter was born here, I can say that I am happy.
The icing on the cake is to wear this jersey.

Future of Kylian Mbappé: PSG is getting impatient
Wednesday, in the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League, the Cameroonian international striker (55 caps, 15 goals) will find PSG.
He says he is "very happy to meet the guys" with whom he shared great moments in the French capital, and in particular the Final 8 in Lisbon.
Choupo-Moting qualified PSG for the semi-finals by scoring a goal at the end of added time against Atalanta Bergamo.
He recounts this adventure which resulted in the defeat in the final against Bayern.
“At the time, it was a match between the two best teams in Europe.
Bayern deserved to win.
For me, our journey to the final was just magnificent, especially as my goal against Atalanta qualified us.
"
But, now, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is in the opposing camp and he does not intend to give PSG a gift: “Winning the title is everyone's goal here, you can see it every day in this club.
We have a good chance, but I think it's harder to defend your Champions League title than it is to win it.
Everyone is expecting Bayern at the moment.
We are considered the best team in the world.
(…) We will not take PSG lightly.
The Parisians are warned.
