Around 15 teams compete every year in a wide variety of age groups and leagues, young grizzlies are always a permanent fixture in the Bayern team and the Germany squad.

The women 1 of the bears have also been ensuring that Attaching is a venue for the 1st Bundesliga for several years.

The local fans were able to cheer for the final of the German championship in 2019 and 2020.

The young team was “only” German runner-up in both years, but 2021 is a new year and the softball players will give everything again.

Preparations are already under way, because unlike leisure teams, the Grizzlies women are allowed to train, of course subject to strict hygiene requirements.

“The women are training and will start operating in the league in May.

Hegen is full of confidence: “We hope that Mariesa can come soon when all the formalities have been dealt with.

This time we hope for a long-term commitment, because last year it was suddenly interrupted by the pandemic. "

By the way, as soon as training and games are also allowed for lower leagues again, all Grizzlies teams - women, men and the youngsters in baseball and softball - have big plans for 2021: “The young teams are favorites in all age groups.

The U16 championship will even take place in Freising again.

All the cadres are very well staffed, thanks in part to the school campaigns last year.

In terms of both quality and quantity, no coach has to worry about running out of players - and that wasn't always the case in the past.
