The French defender of Valence Mouctar Diakhaby returned this Tuesday in a video on the racist incident which occurred during the match between his club and Cadiz on Sunday.

The player trained in Lyon reaffirms that the Andalusian defender Juan Cala called him "black shit".

“I would like to talk about what happened in Cadiz on Sunday.

After two days, I am very quiet and want to talk about it.

There was an altercation during which a player insulted me.

His words were: "Black with shit".

That's what the player told me and it's intolerable.

I cannot condone this.

You have all seen my reaction.

This cannot happen in normal life and especially in football which is a sport of respect.

After that, me and my teammates decided to go back to the locker room.

It was a good decision.

A Cádiz player asked one of our teammates if we were ready to come back on the pitch if (Juan) Cala came to apologize.

Me and my partners said no.

We can't apologize like that and move on.

Today I feel good but it hurt me a lot.

I hope La Liga will do something and take sanctions, ”said Mouctar Diakhaby.

Javer Tevas, president of La Liga, said on Monday that an investigation had been opened.

Juan Cala is scheduled to speak to the media on Tuesday.
