Al-Wahda, the UAE, qualified for the group stage of the AFC Champions League, after winning 2-1 at its Iraqi guest Al-Zawraa today at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi as part of the Asian Championship supplement.
Al-Zawraa scored first through Alaa Abdel Zahra in the 47th minute, while Omar Khribin scored the equalizer in the 62nd minute for the owners of the land, then Khalil Ibrahim scored the winning goal in the 77th minute.
With this result, Al-Wehda went up to compete in Group E, which includes Iranian Persepolis, Al-Rayyan of Qatar and Goa Al-Hindi, which hosts group matches from 14 to 30 this month.
