The Maccabi Tel Aviv Euroleague season will end tomorrow (Friday, 20:00) in St. Petersburg, when the Yellows of Yannis Sapropoulos will be hosted by the local Zenit.
The Israeli champion will once again try to put together two victories in a row after the 62:92 over Moscow Khimki in the arena on Tuesday.
"We are playing against an opponent who is still struggling to qualify for the playoffs, so she will come with a lot of motivation," noted coach Yannis Sapropoulos before leaving for Russia. "Quality against us, a team that played very well all season. We expect a good game, and we want the last game to be one of our best."
"It's an opportunity to finish in a positive way," said Elijah Bryant.
Dragon Bender added: "It will be a very difficult game, especially on their pitch. They have a squad with a lot of good players. This is the last game of the Euroleague season, we will come to fight and prove we play strong until the end."
