Former Lyon player Mouctar Diakhaby earlier this week accused a Cadiz opponent of insulting him with racist remarks.

La Liga, the football league that manages the Spanish professional league, found no evidence of racist insults against French Valencia defender Mouctar Diakhaby in the game against Cadiz on Sunday April 4.

The managerial body of Spanish professional football announced this Friday pending the decision of the Spanish Federation, competent in disciplinary matters.

"After analysis of the elements, no evidence was found in any of the media available in La Liga that the player Juan Torres Ruiz (Juan Cala) would have insulted Mouctar Diakhaby in the terms denounced", indicates La Liga in a released statement. .

She claims to have analyzed the "audiovisual and digital archives available, the soundtracks of the match, the images captured and what may have been broadcast on various social networks", without finding anything.

However, she called on a company specializing in the matter "which carried out a reading analysis on the lips and a behavioral study of players Juan Torres Ruiz (Juan Cala) and Mouctar Diakhaby".

La Liga is therefore preparing to close the case, for lack of evidence.

At the start of the week, however, the affair had caused a stir.

In a video posted on social networks, the 24-year-old former Lyon defender claimed that he had been called a “Negro de Mierda” by the Cadiz player.

“There was an action where a player insults me,” he continued.

His words are

black with shit

.

He told me.

It's intolerable.

I cannot condone this.

You have seen my reactions, that cannot exist in normal life and even less in football which is a sport of respect.

"

But according to Cope radio, the microphones recorded Cala saying to Diakhaby “

Mierda, Déjame en paz

” (“Shit

, leave

me alone”, in Spanish), then apologize by saying “Perdona, no te cabrees” ( “Sorry, don't get upset”, in Spanish).

La Liga shared the results of its investigation with the clubs involved (Cadiz and Valencia) and the competent authorities.

There remains the path of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF): its competition committee, competent to take possible disciplinary sanctions against the players, has opened an "extraordinary procedure" against Juan Cala, with the aim of the light around what happened in the 28th minute of this league game between Cadiz and Valencia.
