LE SCAN SPORT - A shower of tributes from all walks of the sporting world has paid tribute to the memory of the Duke of Edinburgh who died on Friday at the age of 99.


The disappearance of Prince Philip on Friday plunged the United Kingdom into deep sadness and the world of sport has not escaped this wave of emotion.

Although not necessarily his favorite sport, the Duke of Edinburgh has received numerous tributes from football clubs across the Channel, led by Chelsea FC.
