The disappointing Euroleague season of Maccabi Tel Aviv comes to an end today (Friday).
Yannis Sapropoulos' team is hosted by Zenit St. Petersburg in a game that is unimportant to them, and critical for the opponent.
Following Valencia's victory last night over Basconia, St. Petersburg owes victories in the two games they have left (against Maccabi Tel Aviv and against Panathinaikos) to advance to the playoffs.
On the other hand, the Yellows want to end the season in good taste and continue the momentum after the convincing victory over another Russian rival, Moscow Khimki, on which the Yellows vented their frustration in the arena.
Angelo Cloiaro, who remains in Israel with his wife, who gave birth to Sapropolos, but Othello Hunter, who has been absent in recent weeks, has been included in the squad.
