The season is over. What is your sporting record after what is probably the most unusual league season of all time?
Due to the constant Corona breaks, we were affected three times, it was extremely difficult for the team to get the performance they would normally be able to do.
That's why I'm happy with the situation, depending on the situation.
Does the play-off series against Rosenheim reflect the season? Apart from game one, the ECP was very close to beating the favorites. In the end, a success and thus a second home game or even a surprise was missed by a wafer.
That actually describes it quite well.
We were often on the trigger, did not let ourselves get down.
But in the end, a few percent were missing.
However, one must not forget that Rosenheim was a strong opponent.
And what is the economic balance sheet?
You can roughly estimate it at the moment.
We got away with a black eye.
The sponsors have remained loyal to us.
At this point, a big thank you.
And of course, thanks to the state compensation payments, we were able to master the season quite well.
From the outside, it had the impression that the major league clubs had moved closer together due to Corona. How did the pandemic affect the ECP?
The impression is not mistaken.
There was constant contact between the clubs.
You had to constantly readjust the regulations.
Corona has welded together a bit.
Overall, of course, it was very challenging.
I don't even know how many hours I spent on the computer because of hygiene concepts.
Due to the Corona story, the sporting aspect has moved a little into the background.
In this context, I would like to thank our team doctor, Doctor Mohr, who managed the issue with the tests and the coordination with the health department very well.
What are the most urgent tasks at EC Peiting in the coming weeks and months?
After we introduced Anton Saal as the new coach on the Easter weekend, it is now a matter of putting the team together for the coming season.
Anton will do that together with team manager Gordon Borberg.
Otherwise your hands are tied at the moment.
Hopefully it will work out by autumn.
Then we would be on the wish list. How does it look for the EC Peiting?
At the top is getting the pandemic under control and being able to return to normal.
Another wish concerns the offspring that they can train again soon and do sports together.
