Lokomotiv defeated its guest Spartak with two 0-0 goals in the Moscow derby, which they combined today in the 25th round of the Russian Football League.
Lokomotiv scored Francois Camano and Feodor Smolov in the 22nd and 47th minutes, respectively, of the match.
Spartak has played with ten players since the 45th minute, after Brazilian player Ayrton Lucas was sent off for receiving the red card immediately after his violent intervention on Spartak player Rifaat Jamaldinov alone in the net.
With this result, Lokomotiv raised his score to 46 points in third place in the Russian league table, reducing the difference to one point with runner-up Spartak, whose balance stuck at 47 points.
