The French defender of Valence Mouctar Diakhaby "intends to go to the end of this story" of racist insults of which he says he was a victim in the Spanish Championship, specifying Monday on RMC that "the investigation is ongoing".
"The investigation has not yet proved Juan Cala right", the Cadiz player who allegedly insulted him on Sunday April 4, "the investigation is ongoing, we must go before a judge of the federation", specified the former Lyonnais of Guinean origin.
Diakhaby was speaking three days after LaLiga, the managerial body of Spanish professional football, said in a statement that he had found “no evidence” in “any of the media available at LaLiga that player Juan Torres Ruiz (Juan Cala) would have insulted Mouctar Diakhaby in the terms denounced ”.
If LaLiga has found nothing, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has for its part opened an "extraordinary procedure" against Juan Cala.
According to Spanish radio Cope, the microphones recorded Cala saying to Diakhaby “Mierda, Déjame en paz” (“Shit, leave me alone”, in Spanish), then apologize by saying “Perdona, no te cabrees” ( “Sorry, don't get upset”, in Spanish).
