A former football coach, who presented himself as a recruiter for training centers, is sent back to the Paris Assizes for rape or sexual assault on eight teenagers from 2003 to 2018, we learned Monday from corroborating sources.
Ahmed G., 48, is accused of "rape and sexual assault by person in authority over minors under 15, attempted rape, electronic sexual proposals and bribery of minors" on eight young players, who had less. 15 years old for the most part and that he trained in clubs in the Paris region, said lawyers and a source close to the case.

The facts came to light in October 2015, when the mother of a 13-year-old teenager showed up at a suburban Paris police station after discovering numerous sexual messages on her son's cell phone from his trainer. .
Indicted and placed under judicial supervision in February 2016 with a ban on seeing minors, Ahmed G. was imprisoned a month later for having contacted minors and provided training, despite the bans.
After a year spent in detention, he is placed under judicial supervision with again the ban on frequenting football fields and minors.
But he was reincarcerated in February 2019: he was training young people in a club in the Paris region.
Investigators then realize that in the meantime, he has raped another boy.
The investigation made it possible to identify several victims, young football enthusiasts, of African origin and from a modest background.
"He contests all rapes, he recognizes on the other hand certain sexual assaults and contests others", explains his lawyer, Peggy Salomé, specifying that he had "a real feeling of guilt".
Ahmed G. used a "recurring modus operandi" to gain the confidence of adolescents: he introduced himself as a recruiter for training centers, established a close relationship, then sexually assaulted them, according to the signed indictment order. by a Parisian examining magistrate on February 4, of which AFP took note.
The investigation came up against the difficult identification of other victims and the silence of the adolescents.
“In our opinion, the victims are many more numerous.
We have seen a free speech, but it is still a fragile process, ”says Agathe Blanc, who defends the interests of four of them.
