One of the greatest strikers in the country's history - Radamel Falcao, was seriously injured in the head during Glatsray training, the Turkish club reported yesterday (Sunday to Monday) in the dead of night.
Falcao, 35, got into an air battle with a teammate during training and was taken to hospital, where he was diagnosed with a fracture in his facial bone and underwent surgery.
Falcao joined the Turkish luxury club in 2019 from Monaco, having previously played for Porto, Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea.
This season so far he has scored eight goals for his team which is currently in third place in the table.
