Does Munich have to do without the European Football Championship?
That continues to threaten

Munich's Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter has confirmed the wish for European Championship games in the Allianz Arena, but cannot currently give the audience guarantee required by the European Football Union (Uefa).
The SPD politician was quoted as saying in a message after a meeting with DFB Vice President Rainer Koch that "unfortunately it cannot be ruled out that due to the infection process and the corresponding requirements of the Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance, no viewers can be admitted to the game dates in June" .
Koch is a member of the UEFA Executive Committee, which next Monday will make the decision on the EM format (June 11th to July 11th) in originally twelve countries.
Last Friday, Uefa gave the green light to eight cities that guaranteed partial admission of spectators.
However, Munich, Dublin, Rome and Bilbao have not yet been able to guarantee this and will have to improve their concepts before the Exko meeting.
If no fans can be guaranteed, the games may be lost.
"From my point of view, viewers in Munich can of course only be admitted if the pandemic situation reasonably allows it and all necessary health protection measures are taken," said Koch: "I would be pleased if the city of Munich also took this stance against this background which Uefa sees as a desirable objective. "
The top health advisor of the Italian government, like Reiter, considers the Uefa deadline to be far too short.
"It is difficult to make a forecast for an event that will take place in two months," Franco Locatelli told the RAI radio station. It was only at the beginning of May that more reliable statements could be made.
