The first game in the final series between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Mate Asher Acre was stopped tonight (Monday) during the third game due to a riot by Maccabi Tel Aviv fans.
In the third set (2: 8 below Asher) when the Yellows led 0: 2 in the sets at this point, the Maccabi crowd threw objects at the parquet that hit the referee.
At this point the game was stopped by a decision of the game supervisor, the teams met with the refereeing team about the possibility of resuming the game without a crowd, the staff down which Acre refused and the game was finally stopped.
