"I can hardly wait" - FC Bayern introduces new U19 coach

FC Bayern has arranged for Danny Schwarz and Martin Demichelis to be succeeded by the U19s.

Danny Galm is coming to the Isar from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. 

Munich - The record champion is pushing the planning at the junior performance center (NLZ).

After Holger Seitz is again exclusively responsible for the management on campus, Martin Demichelis and Danny Schwarz, the two original U19 coaches, took over the U23 in the 3rd division last week.

The A-Juniors season was canceled due to the corona pandemic. 

As already reported at the end of February, Danny Galm will take over from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim for the new season.

“Danny has many years of experience in the youth field and has always been very successful with his teams.

We have had him in our field of vision for a long time and are very happy that he will be working in our junior team from summer on, ”said NLZ director Jochen Sauer at the official introduction.

Galm himself played successfully as a junior player for VfB Stuttgart in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga, but did not make the big breakthrough as a professional.

In the past few years, the 35-year-old has concentrated on his coaching career in the Kraichgau and is about to receive his football instructor license.

With this, almost all trainer personal details in the NLZ on Ingolstädter Straße have been clarified.

The U16 will be looked after by Peter Gaydarov in the coming season.
