- The Red-Whites voted - and it turned out as it was planned: Sigmund Lee is the new chairman of the Freising tennis club, where the board elections had to be made in writing by post this time due to the corona pandemic.
The election proposal of the outgoing board of directors around Rainer Großkopf was accepted with a few opposing votes - and thus the generation change at the top of the club was successful.
The new strong man in the club is also an old acquaintance: Sigmund Lee previously held the office of youth leader and made a difference in the process.
The TC Rot-Weiß has had successful youth work in recent years and has also produced exciting sporting talents.
Lee was Rainer Großkopf's preferred candidate for the position of 1st Chairman.
Out of 142 votes cast, he received 138, with three votes against and one abstention.

Christian Schwaiger was elected deputy head of the TC with 138 votes and four abstentions.
With Dominik Pescolderung (139 votes and three abstentions) an active player of the first men's team takes over the cashier.
In addition, secretary Axel Lindhorst, sports warden Klaus Schimpf, youth warden Florian Weißflog, Andreas Neumann as the person responsible for public relations and the cash auditors Werner Neumeier and Christian Trost were elected.

After the election, chairman Sigmund Lee emphasized that with the sports facility in the Savoyer Au and the good 500 members, they had a very good basis on which to build.
“We can now concentrate a little more on the sporting side,” says Lee, whose son Raphael is one of the club's hopeful talents.
However, the chairman also explained that the athletic course should be taken with his own people: "For me, tennis is a regional sport." He wants to bring the TC red and white back to the level of the best teams in the district: "We are not where we wanted to be sporty. "
The presence of the new board is now first of all dealing with the corona pandemic.
At the moment singles can be practiced as an individual sport, but no doubles.
The officials must also be surprised how the points round scheduled for the beginning of June will look like.
