The youth academy of Maccabi Tel Aviv honored the memory of the fallen in a ceremony held this morning (Wednesday) at the training complex in Kiryat Shalom.
The players of the academy, the professional team, the management and representatives from the senior team were present at the ceremony, which was also attended by Liran Baruch and Omer Levy, Maccabi Tel Aviv fans who were injured during their military service.
Another guest at the event was Arik Sviatkowski, the brother of the late Ilan Sviatkowski's fan who was killed in an encounter with terrorists in the Kissufim area.
At the ceremony, those present honored the memory of the late Shachar Strug, a native of Givatayim, who was a ardent and proud fan of the Yellows. The late Sgt.
