This move comes in response to UEFA's intention to announce tomorrow the Champions League format update. For years, senior club heads have been flirting with the possibility of establishing a closed league, independent of UEFA and without having to qualify through the local league, and now the move seems to have reached the execution stage.
According to Marca, Madrid have examined the consequences of such a move and realized that there will be a 30-50 million euro devaluation in revenue next season, but in the future they will be able to generate much higher revenues.
The Premier League management condemned the desire to establish this league and claimed that it would harm the attractiveness of the entire game.
According to reports in Italy, the DAZN network is willing to pay for the broadcasting rights of this league $ 3.5 billion.
