Alexander Dyukov, President of the Russian Football Association, won a membership in the Executive Committee of the European Football Association (UEFA) for the next four years.
Russia Today reported that Dyukov won 50 votes during the UEFA conference, which was held in the Swiss city of Monterrey, to secure one of the eight seats whose membership was voted on.
Dyukov has headed the Russian Football Association since February 2019 and was president of Zenit Petersburg between 2008 and 2017 and served as chairman of the club's board of directors between 2017 and 2019.
